Lead a team of five software developers for an Open Source Java application designed to run on Google Android based mobile devices.  Point of contact for both customer and key stakeholder.  Tasks included architectural design, software development, scheduling meetings, organizing presentations, and assuring the project developed smoothly and on time.

Developed on a Linux workstation in C and C++.  Resolved many potential bug issues for the Custom Integrated Circuit Design team using static analysis tools, primarily Coverity Prevent.  Ran regression tests to assure fixes didn’t cause new issues.  Taught a class to the CICD team on the use of Coverity Prevent for individual developers.  Gained an outstanding appreciation for wise coding practices.

Increased team efficiency by automating monotonous tasks with Perl and VBScript on UNIX and MS Windows Server platforms.  Increased team efficiency and communication with MS SharePoint Server 2007.  Used VMware, Sun Solaris, and Linux as a platform to develop a Java EE/JSP application designed to improve team efficiency and security by allowing IBM WebSphere developers to change their own passwords.  Played a major part in a Six Sigma project aimed at improving the efficiency of software development and deployment.  Successfully created a method of collecting data for the project, then analyzed the data and presented it to the Web Services team.
